Inter college Science research competition was held under the Directorate of Science and technology at COMSATS, Abbottabad. The young scientists of Modernage named Master Aftab Alam and Master Waqar Ali selected a novel idea and started a research about that under the supervision of their project supervisor and Maths teacher Mr. Muhammad Nadeem. The research project was “Bad Impact of Smoking Though Brain Signal”. The students developed such a filter from natural minerals which can filter not all toxic materials from smoke. It is far superior from the existing filters which being synthetic leave bad effects on health. This project won 1st Position at COMSATS Abbottabad and qualified for the final competition being held at Peshawar. Modernites testified their talent in the final competition and won “GOLD MEDAL”.
