The event of Music Gala was conducted on 6th August, 2010. Solo and Group Singing and Poem Recitation Competitions were held among the four Junior Houses of Modernage. The participants from the four Houses Umer, Usman, Siddique and Ali participated in the events enthusiastically. The children sitting as audience cheered and clapped as they were enthralled by the rhythm and beat of the music. In the Poem Recitation Competition Roshan Pervez from Siddique House grabbed the first position. In the group Urdu Poem Recitation Competition Amina Naz, Zonaira Saeed and Mahnoor Fayyaz belonging to Ali House grabbed the first position. In English Solo Poem Recitation Competition Manahil Shahzad from Usman House won the first position. In group English Poem Recitation Competition Samra Aslam, Zeeshan Ahamed and Ummar Tanveer from Ali House won the first position. In Singing Competition Zakwan-ul-Mulk belonging to Usman House won the first position. In Group Singing Competition Saad Kaleem, Haram Zain and Maryum Ayesha from Siddique House won the first position. All the participants exhibited great enthusiasm in all the competitions. These events have testified that Modernites not only exhibit good performance in academics but in co-curricular activities as well. They poured their thoughts into melodies and expressed their feelings. All the house mistresses deserve great appreciation for preparing the students.
