Advantages & Disadvantages of Internet

The world today has become a place which without internet is unimaginable. Internet is one of the biggest mass media which has spell bound the world with its uncountable advantages. Where there is a bright side, the other one always has to be dark. In the same way internet has advantages as well as disadvantages.

Internet has piles of information, study material, researches and what not to aid people in their tasks. Students are the ones who benefit from this resource the most as it helps them to make learning easier and interactive but a few students do not particularly benefit themselves and simply copy-paste the parts of the information without even studying it and thus do not put in any effort or hard work. By using such short cuts their minds remain barren.

Internet has made the world a smaller place. People who live miles away from each other can now with just a few clicks talk to their family members. For teenagers there are social networks which help them connect to their friends. The major disadvantage there is that many of us do not know how to manage our time properly and waste a lot of time on the internet. To maintain a balance between our real existence and our virtual existence we must limit our use of internet to a certain time. By doing so, we will have time for our family, studies, sports, hobbies, etc. The addiction of the internet sometimes puts the teenagers and kids in danger. It is very important that we learn to use the net safely.
