Career Counselling Day

When students complete their education upto intermediate level, then comes the time for the most important and perhaps the most difficult decision of their life i.e. the choice of a career. If such a student is properly guided, it becomes very easy for him to choose a professional college according to his own aptitude. Keeping this fact in view, MAPS arranges career counselling days from time to time so that the students can make right decisions at the right time. In these sessions, renowned professionals from various fields are invited who share with the students their professional experiences and needs and demands of their profession. This time the Career Day was held on 22nd Aug, 2009 in which we invited Mr Qazi Ghazanfar (Advocate), Dr. Ehsan Qureshi (ENT Specialist) and Mr. Faraz Akram (Engineer). All the guests talked about their fields in a very pleasant and friendly way. They guided the students about the specific study that is required for their particular profession and the institutes that are offering the particular programs for those studies. They also discussed the scope of their professions in Pakistan and at the international level. In the end a question/answer session was held in which the students participated very actively.
